If someone wanted to find your business or nonprofit, would they be able to? Would you be happy with what they found?
It’s important to make sure that you have a digital marketing strategy just like you have a strategy for your budget, your hiring practices, and your five-year business plan.
Why? People are going to be able to find you online, whether that’s on Yelp or Google Maps—and if you aren’t being proactive about your digital presence, you’re forfeiting control on what people find about you online.
A digital marketing strategy can also help you gain more followers, establish and promote your brand, and provide consistent content for your social channels. It can create goodwill and a relationship between you and the people you’re trying to reach.
There are many ways to go about creating a digital marketing strategy, but it can be overwhelming when you don’t know where to start.
One way we do that here at Graybill Creative is to spend an hour-long strategy session to help you come up with a plan for your digital marketing.
In that session, we’ll discuss what you’re already doing to get people to visit your website and social channels. We will weigh the positives and the negatives, and then talk about your goals for your business and your online presence. If you like the plan we come up with, we can then move onto implementation.
After implementing your new digital marketing strategy, we will reconvene after one month to check the analytics of your website and social media channels. We will see what worked and what didn’t, and rework the strategy accordingly.
Not comfortable with the way you’re currently showing up online when people search for you? Or are they not able to find you at all?
Let’s have a conversation about how a digital marketing strategy can help you put your organization in the best light online.
